性質
SBD-FはHPLC用誘導化試薬として用いられるチオール化合物と選択的に反応する蛍光試薬である。本試薬は水溶性であり、生じた蛍光誘導体も安定であり長波長域に蛍光特性を有する等の特長がある。
反応は0.1 mol/lホウ酸緩衝液（pH9.5）、1 mmol/l EDTA共存下、60 ℃、1時間行い、λex=385 nm、λem=515 nmで蛍光測定する。GSH、システイン、N-アセチルシステイン、CoA、BSAなどの検出限界は100～500 pmol/mlと高感度である。
HPLCのプレラベル化試薬として用いると血中GSH、血漿中システインの簡易定量が可能である。
