機能性有機材料
機能性有機材料には、金などの貴金属表面の機能化に利用されるアルカンチオール類や、酸化アルミニウムなどの金属酸化物表面の機能化に利用されるホスホン酸誘導体などを分類している。
固体表面に結合、集積し、自発的にナノレベルの薄膜を形成する自己組織化単分子膜(Self-Asssembled Monolayer; SAM) は、その作製の簡便さと、用途の広さから、近年盛んに研究されている。アルカンチオールやジスルフィドの誘導体は金、銀、銅、パラジウム、白金等の貴金属表面に高密度な薄膜を形成することが知られており、特に金基板上のチオールやジスルフィドの形成するSAMは、SPRやQCM等のバイオセンサ、金ナノ粒子の機能化、電子材料への応用( リソグラフィー、光- 電気変換、分子電子デバイス) など様々な用途で使用されている。
